The annual North Carolina Public Health Leaders' Conference (formerly the State Health Director's Conference) was held January 24-25, 2019, at the Hilton North Raleigh Midtown. The 2019 conference focused on preparing for North Carolina’s Healthy NC 2030 efforts, while also addressing current public health issues, such as the opioid epidemic, early childhood initiatives, and the environment.
